I've scanned what I typed several times and cannot find a single mention of banning musical history. I think the suggestion I was making was that we should focus on creating rather than mimicking.
Who am I to judge? Sorry, putting aside I wasn't judging; I must of missed a memo. I wasn't aware that human beings were no longer allowed to use their critical faculties to form their own judgements on any subject they choose but clearly that must be the case or you wouldn't be asking that question.
