Dan Sindel performs J.S. BACH - Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring using the AXON Guitar-to-MIDI Controller.
4 days on the "EZGTR Set" filming, editing and testing many of the 128 "built-in" General MIDI sounds that the 19" AXON's Guitar to MIDI Controller Soundboard offers was a lot of fun and we hope you enjoy the video.
For any MIDI guitar enthusiast the ultra fast AXON Guitar-to-MIDI controller in a single unit rack mount has an early transient recognition system (ETR) which evaluates the impulses from the strings as soon as they are picked and converts them into values for pitch, dynamics and length. A 32-bit RISC processor makes it possible, opening up a whole new world of music to the guitarist.

Hello! great video thanks :) im a sibelius user and im considering buying the axon 50 instead.... do i need the axon 100 for sibelius use? ive been told that axon is faster than gi-20 for notation but im on budget... thanks
Hi, from what I understand you can use either the 50 or 100. the 50 is more suited for home studio use and the 100 is for a live rig but both work equally well.
The 100 does not have USB out is one of the big differences but all you need is something like the M Audio Uno 1-In/1-Out USB Bus-Powered MIDI Interface and you will be just fine.
After listening to samples in other places, yes, the Axon is capable of driving some nice sounding VST's. EZGTR, if I were you, I'd re-do this with some better quality samples :-)
