I just went up this yesterday, great view. What blew my mind was the many pairs of shoes that you can see on top of the trees on the way up.

@CaulfeildVillage I have been working at the Banff Gondola for years and yes it's colder, yes even in summer you should bring a jacket,,,, but unless expection it's around 4 degrees below. However, sometimes during winter it can be the opposite and be even warmer. The wind is strong on any mountaintop during summer so yeah dress yourself properly!

@sealalula  You are right, it`s really beautiful, however you cannot see Lake Louise from the top of Banff Gondola, it's actually Minnewanka lake.

I have been there! Bring a jacket cause it is like 15 degrees colder on top, even in summer.

Wow, its beautiful, I have been there so many times I love it. If you have never been to Banff you must go.
