Read the description for a more organized and easier to follow guide of the tournament!
Hey guys! My name is Names, and this is my first drawing tournament I'll be hosting on this channel. This has been asked for a lot, so let's just get straight to the details.
This tournament is based on rounds, and will go over the course of 6 weeks.
Round 1 - 3 weeks - Entering stage (Everyone can enter freely)
Round 2 - 1 week - Top 8 compete against each other
Round 3 - 1 week - Top 4 compete against each other
Round 4 - 1 week - Top 2 compete against each other
Once the tournament is down to the top 8, those top 8 will be matched up against each other in 1 on 1 battles. So instead of having to draw better than everyone else in the top 8, you only need to draw better than your opponent. This will make it more entertaining between challengers, and will also make it easier to judge.
With the 1 on 1 battles, that obviously eliminates 4 people, which brings us to the top 4, and eventually the top 2.
For each round, you'll have to draw a NEW drawing to compete. You cannot use the one you used in the previous round. So if you go all the way to the end of this tournament, you'll have to draw total of 4 drawings (4 rounds).
THE RULES:
1.) No tracing. It's obvious when a piece is traced, and I can easily tell by throwing it into Photoshop. I allow referenced work in my tournaments, so have some pride, and don't cheat!
2.) No Hentai, Yuri or Yaoi.
3.) Only one entry per person.
4.) Your entry can be either traditional or digital.
5.) Your entry must be a video response to this video.
6.) Your drawing must fall into the category of manga, video games or cartoons. If you're unsure about your entry, feel free to ask! Original characters are accepted!
PRIZE:
As a lot of you know, last contest the prize was a set of Copic markers. Unfortunately, I don't have much extra money laying around right now, so I couldn't afford a great prize like that. So instead, the prize is exposure.
The winner will have a video of their choosing featured on both of my channels for 2 weeks, as well as having their channel specially promoted of my channel, Facebook, and DeviantArt.
I felt this prize was good, considering I get a fair amount of views between my two channels/Deviantart.
On top of that though, this WHOLE tournament, is based on exposure. When you enter this contest, EVERYONE will see you art. Not just the other contestants, but the viewers as well. It's about getting your name out there. Getting people to see your art!
With that being said, promotion of this tournament is going to help EVERYONE get views. So please, I won't make it a rule, but if everyone can promote this in whatever ways they can (likes, favorites, sharing) it will help a lot. Every little bit of promotion counts!
So that's it guys! What are you waiting for? You've got three weeks to make a kick-ass entry to get you a place in the top 8! Get drawing!
I guess cartoon art doesn't get too far against manga art.

@SnapperBoy648 In most cases, you're correct. It's not because I'm biased towards Manga, but simply because Cartoons are usually more simplistic. It's not the artists fault, it's just the style that cartoons are generally in. I always accept Cartoons though, since they are very closely related to Manga/Anime.

No worries to those that uploaded last minute, your entry was accepted! I overslept by three hours past midnight, lol. So even if you were a bit late, it can't be helped because I wasn't awake xD.
