Mark from the Austin Stone Community Church gets asked to explain why his is a Christian and why other people, such as the hosts themselves, should also be Christians. He fails to provide a clean-cut answer, which leads to multiple rants from Matt Dillahunty and Jeff Dee discussing evidence and the costs vs. benefits of religion. Most of this conversation is captured here in part 2, but you can catch the first few minutes here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAen2NPDr8A

Apologies in advance for getting the audio out of sync. I don't know what happened, but I didn't want to go through the work of reprocessing the video at this time.

Jeff Dee and Matt Dillahunty host this clip from The Atheist Experience #696 - http://www.atheist-experience.com

The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin. The ACA is a non-profit organization, promoting positive atheism and the separation of church and state. If you would like to donate please do so at http://www.atheist-community.org/donate/

  • "holding their sandwich ransom in the name of jesus". that was pretty funny. matt has his ducks in a row, and he makes tons of sense.

  • @JohnGolbunny hahahahahahahah "top comedian" hahahah

  • @MrConsarnit Actually, the ACA has been suspicious of Mark's allilas names, but they had absolutely no evidence to conclude that, say, Andrew is in fact Mark as they have no caller ID, so they consistently gave him the benefit of the doubt. However, on the most recent show, Matt Dillahunty finally trapped him into revealing who he really is. Then all hell and chaos broke lose on that that same episodes blog. It's kinda fun to read over, actually. xD
