This film was fantastic, I strongly urge people to look up the actors involved and check their histories, particularly the 'no limbed' man and Schlitze, they had fascinating lives. :)

I personally feel they should have ended the movie with the man saying "there she is" and then many of the on lookers gasping in horror and then have the camera pan down but never show what olga looked liked to add a sense of complete mystery as to what the freaks did to her. It would be the ultimate cliffhanger!!

@Lorraine Get Real! The original ending was supposedly too gruesome (or real), so they opted for another. What ever they did to her, the freaks cut her to pieces. It's part of the freak show, that they had her quack or anything else; just like the line a Russian Prince killed himself over her. Was she supposed to lie in a hospital bed and say," ** those motherless freaks for cutting my legs and hands off."? Better she stayed in the freak show and had an act. They killed the strong man.

im pretty sure its not lost. but kept in a vault. i bet they will release it again when it gets to be 100 years old.

This film is 80 years old. its amazing. But i think once it gets to 100 years old they will release it again with the original ending. Cuz people like to do things to piss us off!!!!!

To be fair, while silly by today's standards, this is a rather old film, and it was in fact shocking and upsetting to a lot of people back then.

It's so stupid that she turns into a duck. Do the producers think the audience are idiots. They want to see something frightening, not ridiculous. It spoils the film.
