Montessori Schoolhouse Light a Candle for Peace

The children at The Montessori Schoolhouse in Springfield, Illinois join with Montessori Schools from all over the world wide by singing of Light a Candle for Peace on Peace Day 9-21-09. Over 70,000 Montessori students from schhols circling the globe participated in this chain of singing which began in New Zealand and ended in Hawaii 24 hours later. This event was one of the largest hosted events for the United Nations International Peace Day 2009.
