  • I swapped some much needed knowledge with the Pediatricians that day in exchange for my sons medical records. Do not blindly trust anyone with regards to your childs health. Get informed. Our children are poisoned evryday, and most of the medical community turns a blind eye.

  • I was informed by the secretary that one MD would not go against what another MD had thought was the best treatment. So even if the second MD was wiser, their interest was with their comrad, and not for the best interest of the patient. I printed over 200 pages of medical studies showing that when Amoxicillin is prescibed for Strep, 8 out of 10 children will return within the week in need of more agressive treatment, b/c in fact, Amoxicillin is not an effective treatment.

  • To conclude this event, after 5 days of my sons Strep not being treated, the lab results returned positive. The nurse (LPN) Pediatrician's office called for me to come pick up a prescription of Amoxicillin. I asked for another antibiotic b/c Amox had never cured any infection for my son. The Pediatrician refused to prescribe something else, stating that Amoxicillin is 100% effective in tratment of Strep.. I contacted another Pediatrician within the same office and again made the same request.

  • to recognise. Even with persistent fever, they attempt to vaccinate my child w/ a vaccination he does not need. THESE THINGS ARE NOT RARE OCCURRANCES. Lots of people w/ MD after their names should not be allowed to practice medicine. And they don't really put much thought or consideration in what they are advicing and prescribing patients. They get bonuses from drug manufacturers for prescibing people their medications. There's not much difference between lobbyist/Congress and drug reps/MDs.

  • is a far less danger than the dangers of immunizations, Especiallly a vaccination, that had just been supplied to the healthcare industry. My son is autistic, Aspergers, as a result of the use of multi-dose vials containing mercury compounds as a preservative in MMR vaccinations. Which, by the way has only been corrected in less than half of the manufacturers of vaccinations. But getting back to the point, my son is infected w/ Strep and both the LPN and Pediatrician are too incompetent

  • I literally had to grab her hand to stop her from injecting my son with an unknown substance. I know first hand that many people would not be that aggressive with a healthcare provider, b/c parents aren't sure if they know what is best. Then, I am informed by the nurse that my son is getting the menningococcal vaccination b/c of his age and associated risks!!!!!!!!! As I have been a Critical Care RN for more than 12 years, I am well aware that my sons risk associated w/ menningitis ..... .

  • The rapid strep of course came back neg. Nobody seemed to have the basic skills to simply look at the blisters in the back of his throat. Since it was Thur and the specimen would be sent to lab for confirmation of results in 24-48hrs, my son would not get treatment for Strep until Monday. If that wasn't enough.....without even seeing a doctor, the nurse comes back in and proceeds to swab my sons arm, telling him that there will be a little stick.

  • People should not trust what a doctor says just because they are a doctor. I know this b/c I am a nurse. Over 2 years ago, I took my 14 yo son to the Pediatricians office for medication to treay Strep throat. A nurse came in a swabbed my sons throat very haphazzardly. I told her that she did not get a good swab sample. Not knowing I was a nurse, she dismissed my concern.
