  • @wckfo Used to assess for brachial plexus neuropathy as described by Uchihara, Spine, 1994

    1. The examiner stands behind the patient who is sitting down.

    2. The examiner applies a firm compression to the brachial plexus by squeezing the plexus under the thumb or fingers.

    3. Pain must radiate into the shoulder or upper extremity for the test to be positive.
