  • @kewlick31 First, I think automatic unfolding training wheels should be made available. This gives bikers no excuse to filter because of putting their feet down all the time. But that would not solve the problem of being rear ended, which brought me to the idea of using the shoulder. In case of an emergency, bikes can easily blend in with other traffic since they are narrow.

But you're right; it would cause congestion at traffic lights and other points where motorbikes have to merge back in.

  • @Nomasain the shoulder should doube as a bike lane? are u serious? its there for emergencies not for most dick bike riders to speed down the highway

  • 2 questions:

Whats the use of painted lanes when the highway code condones filtering?

Are bikers allowed to change lanes without indicating? Cause that's what technically happens all the time when filtering. Imagine a car signaling when changing lanes and a bike without signal makes the same lane change to overtake this car... Who's wrong?

Shoulders should double as bike lanes (2 wheels only), and filtering should be illegal when there is none.

  • called filtering here in the uk and perfectly legal :-)

  • @CaptainT97 u should English :)

  • ohh my goodness! what about the streets ???? these streets are totally broken....

how you can drive on such poor roads? amazing... is this normal in the US?

  • u should faster

  • That road's in terrible shape!

  • Good stuff. If I had a motorcycle I would do the same thing. Instead I ride a pista track bike with no brakes in this way. I don't understand why some of these responses are so negative. Oh wait. Riding a bike through NY city. Almost everyday I came accross some Jersey fucker. So you make them mad on the parkway. When they get into NY. They are already pissed. Especially after people like me punch off their mirrors. WTF ever. I just don't like cars.
