Surprisingly, this second quest stage by stage run didn't take nearly as long to complete as I thought it would. The only real trouble for me was stage 3.
Once again, I only use savestates to start at the BEGINNING of each level.
I'm sorry folks but I just don't have the crazy in me to attempt a non-interrupted single segment complete no-hit run of Ghosts'n Goblins for the NES. That kind of venture could take years to complete. Plus, there's a chance I could lose all of my hair during the process.
You'll notice that the Red Arremer (little red devil) now throws two projectiles at a time. Overall, the enemies seem to be a little faster in the second quest. But other than that, their attack patterns are nearly identical.
Lucifer is kind of fun to battle. And he's just so damn easy. He doesn't even really bother to back you into a corner. And all you have to do is dodge his two tiny fireballs. Enjoy the ending.
With this done, it's time to take a nice looooong break from Ghosts'n Goblins. I do NOT feel strongth welling in my body.
Some notes:
-Played on a FCEUX emulator
-No cheats were used
-A Savestate was used
-Played at full speed
