@UrselfAlways: This is because the show is an adaptation of the Japanese Anime "Mach Go Go Go!" The "G" on Speed's shirt stands for "Goh", his name in the Japanese series. Much in the same, Trixie's "M" stand for her name "Michi". Here's another fun fact, the "M" on Speed's helmet and the hood of the Mach 5 stands for Mifune Motors. (Mifune was Speed's last name in the anime).
