safe driving. I don't see your comparison. Do you not want safe guidelines and procedure in airports and on the roads?.. nothing to do with GM at all. dur. Why are you afraid of gov't? why dont you trust the institution of the people by the people to do what is right in regards to GM. Capital driven companies do not have the capability to steer clear of bankruptcy w/o screwing over all the people depending on them if they are as large as GM and in such a problem. okay... so what GM supposed to do. Do you honestly believe that GM, which by the way is paying for pensions of 80+ years worth of workers, wouldn't file for bankruptcy anyway? BTW your comparison to airlines and automakers doesn't exist in the first place. GM makes cars. Boeing makes planes. Gov't regulates procedure and security in airports and airways, not to mention plane construction(who else should do so).
