Downtown Nekketsu Koushinkyoku

There's more to the title, but that's all I can remember...or pronounce.

Anyways. Downtown Nekketsu Koushinkyoku is sort of like a marathon of games. You and up to three other friends can choose the team you want to use and then play through. I don't remember the direct translations of the teams, but there's Kunio's team (white - pink cheerleader), Riki's team (blue - blue cheerleader), Ryuuichi's team (red - yellow cheerleader), and the team I use, Gouda's team (green - green cheerleader). I prefer Gouda's team because it has Gouda and Godai, both of which I use.

The first event is a marathon run. You go throughout the city to get back to the finish line. While you're supposed to just run through the roads, this is a Kunio-Kun game, and following the normal route would be boring. So...

Well, I have to do this race twice. I use Gouda the first time and Godai the second time. I definitely did better on the second race. Earned way more points too.

You play for points in this game. Every time you pick up a weapon or knock an opposing racer down, you earn 5 points. You lose 5 points every time you get knocked down. You lose 10 points every time you go off the left side of the screen.

You also earn points based on your place exiting the current screen. If you're KO'd you get -50 points at the end of the race automatically - otherwise, your point bonus is based on your place in the race. First place gets 150 points, second place gets 100, third place gets 50, and fourth gets 10.

On this first course, the timer is set for 9 minutes per race, and if the timer runs out the race ends and everyone gets majorly reduced points.

Race 1: Kunio (W), Yoshino (B), Mochizuki (R), Gouda (me).
Race 2: Sugata (W), Saotome (B), Ryuuichi (R), Godai (me).
