Those are some odd looking heads. I can see that they're Remo, but they kinda look like practice heads or rubber heads for an electronic set. Does anybody know what kind of Remo heads those are? His first rack tom had a weird twang to it. It could just be that he was hitting the drum real close to the rim which gives a different sound than hitting it dead center. Thanks for sharing this video. I've always loved Will Calhoun.

@drewper73 yeah, they're nice tom heads from what i hear but i tried the black x on my snare. too dark for me and really hard to tune
