Wow. In never ceases to amaze me how frequently I forget that I am surrounded by people of strong Christian faith who are also politically very liberal. And how quickly I remember that, when I see things like this - people of good intention and strong conviction holding views I find abhorent. One day I'm going to write a book entitled, "The Cows and Chickens Take Over The Farm" (which would refer to pentecost, the birth of the church...)
Ummm... we weren't founded on the Bible or for God. Wow - this is... enlightening to say the least. Does anyone know when we got plural governments? I thought we only had one.
How do we live in a spiritual reality when we can't show anything 'spiritual' to exist? Our Framers didn't intend for us to live in a Christian theocracy.
I believe our Founders wanted each of us to develop the best spirituality. Now if you decide that humanism, naturalism, atheism, etc are the best way to do that..your decision.
But non-religion wasn't meant to be the law of the land. As far as science and the spiritual aspect of reality...look up Bell's Theorum also particle physics..it's pretty evident that there's more to reality than meets the eye.
