christ means "anointed"...but the anointing is standard equipment, not something you have to earn thru obedience to orthodoxy.

Oh, sure tannhaus, sorry if my joke offended. I consider it one of the great tragedies in the history of religion that africans were brought over to the new world and had the white man's faith forced upon them. Vodou being a hybrid of the old and the new, but still a comprimise.

Millions of negros in the western world are "good Christians" just like massa wants them to be, but the loa are patient.

Any faith has room for a left-handed path, tho. And Vodou is no exception.

Just a quick comment....voodoo is an actual religion. It's not "hexxing". It's a blend of Catholicism and ancient african pagan religions.
