@MrSuperbizzle Bah. Stretching out the legs in a pedal stroke just makes the hamstrings so much more ineffective. No, Chris has a fairly classical European pedal stroke. Who are you to challenge that kind of stroke??

Sorry, but above the lactate threshold, breathing tends to be deep and fast, not shallow, because of metabolic acidosis being compensated this way. Totally agree with training below the threshold, this actually rises it. On contratry, training above makes you stronger, improves pH buffering capacity, but lowers the threshold. Makes you more sprinter than climber.
