I was told a story about a skinwalker seen off old rt 66 near Gallup. While driving east at about 3AM the driver told me he saw a very odd being running on all fours but that it appeared to be human form, it was able to keep up with the vehicle going approx 70MPH. The driver stated he looked at the creature, it looked at him from under a loose skin with no eyes, then ran off into the desert. Once in Gallup he was told it was a skinwalker...weird.

fkn yani's man they didnt learn when nayei'naysyan'i killed their monster parents they took good magic and made it evil. when nayeinaysyani killed the yei'iis they did not learn now they controll the world, but the great spirit and holy beings will eradicate them. they are afraid of the holy people they only pray on the weak and vulnerable with carnal desires they make kids do sick things but all must return to the great spirit and there will be a perfect record of your doings. stay safe peace

the powers that they have were once used for good things it had the ability for someone to travel fast at a fast speed to help ppl back then but somewhere ppl just started using this ability for pure evil to take revenge out on ppl by either making them sick...it still happenes today especially on the rez.
-
even to this day they still exist but its not very appropiate for us native americans to talk about it its very disturbing the stories you hear
-
i can honestly say i have my own experience with a yaniLiving on the rez is no joke in the middle of nowhere they tend to break into your house especially at night you will know when there is one around hiding in the trees, when the dogs start barrking like crazywhen i was around 11 i had one in my room ijust awoke with a vary dark shadow by my bed it was so dark that it was pitch black you can see the difference because the room was very dark but this thing was darker then tht after tht i froze

Skinwalkers were also used as scouts n wartime for the navajo. since apaches are very close relatives to the navajo many of them learned the ways of the skinwalker. i heard geronimo was one. many of the soldiers that encountered geronimo couldnt shoot him because something made it very difficult. If you really want 2 find some i suggest you go searching around at night way in the back by Hogback. look in the caves i suggest. thats what ive heard. they do training down their.

wut is the name of this song?
This video about whiteman version on skinwalker is far from the real truth.
I am sure with a flute music in the background sound like a myth, but hell if you actually get down to the bottom of this and really see how they look is another story.
To be really be effective Hard-core evil skinwalker, you will be require to take part
in 6 evil disgusting rituals before you will become total possess into shapeshifter.
To tell you this even futhere, It will take an hour of your time.

Like, i was saying in my video description this is only the legend of the skinwalker, not the real history of the skinwalker. Only the speculative legend of its history. So whether you would like to educate me on it or not it doesnt matter. Just please be respectful

Nice slideshow, my father told me that "shape-shifting" was once used as a good thing. For hunting food for our starving people. Mostly used during the Trail of Tears era. Too bad our people took it for granted, now we hear of "skinwalkers" and are scared stiff.
Keep up the good work :)
