Couldn't agree with you more, Cheddar323. I've been actively involved in clean-up projects in the past (one is on my profile). Thankfully a very small minority of Brits care enough to clean up other people's mess but the general British mentality is 'why should I pick it up if I didn't drop it'. Most can't even be bothered to pick up litter in their own gardens (but they'll get off their sofas to wash their precious cars). Crazy, eh ?!
