Today's inspirational message is about slowing way down, and reflecting on the true meaning of the holiday season. As a designer, I know that I can get wrapped up in the details of the holiday season and can allow myself to get really stressed if I'm not careful. Are you like that? Well, I'd like to ask you this...what is really important in your life right now? For you or anyone of us to enjoy this holiday season, you really have to dig deep down and ask yourself that question...because in order to be joyful, in order to be happy, in order to be truly at peace this holiday season, that joy, peace and happiness...starts inside of you. You see, it's not about the stuff you get from family and friends that counts. What truly counts always starts in a person's heart...that's the true gift you can give this holiday...your joy, your peace, your happiness, starts with you. When you allow yourself to give from the heart, then you are received with the same. And no present can ever replace what comes from your heart.
So now you are probably asking me what's the best way to give more of yourself? Start being thankful and grateful for what you already have. When you take the time to think about this, you will find your true meaning within your heart. The focus now becomes directed at other people, and less on yourself...you start to become more appreciative of others, and more grateful of the people in your life.
