Olly( the horse in the video) is a racehorse, he bowed both front tendons a week ago, this video was taken the first time he was on the hosenomore. He is reacting to it in the same way as every other horse that has ever been on it.
Olly spends his days in the stable with bandages on his legs and twice a day for half an hour he stands in the crossties with the hosenomore on, while we are cleaning his stall etc.
It saves us alot of time and frustration, as when he moves around, the water continues to run down his legs.If more than one leg needs hosing it can become very time consuming and frustrating, especially when there are stalls to clean and feeds to make up, by putting him on the hosenomore i have given myself an extra hour in the day.
Each leg of the hosenomore can be turned on or off depending on how many legs need treatment. If you want to see any more info on this, check out www.hosenomore.com

  • HI, i have a 7 yr old ex race horse, he has a bowed tendon on his left front. I am asking for any advice to help him keep sound

  • @Kmgaskell Always wrap his legs when you are working him, and keep your eye out for any swelling or heat. Either cold hose his legs or ice them after working.

  • why drench all four legs with only two bows?

  • Due to standing in the stall for an extended period of time he was getting a bit of swelling in his hinds.

  • haha, my horse is terryified of getting her feet wet, so I use something called "Swedeclay" and it's GREAT!!!

  • @HavenleighPark well i rehabilitate ex race horses and a sure way to make a horse with a bow tendon sound is to give them a year of field rest very light riding and wrap their legs every time you ride. ice him at least 3 times a week as well

  • how does this work??

  • I thought this video said horse no more! I was so scared cause I was just going through auto play on my suggestions and it scared me to death! Thanks so much for the video though. Interesting technology.

  • @HavenleighPark

Actually it really depends on how bad the bow is. We have a horse who has a bowed tendon and will never go to compete or jump higher then small cross rails. He had a more severe one but he will never be a super jumper or anything. Some have very minor ones that can healed but there are some who just have different cases.

  • I own race horses, this is really really cool!!

  • @niriton it cools their legs down and that prevents swelling or bruising. and with the bowed tendons it makes the swelling go down and it helps the tendons heal

  • @hoofrise , that really wouldnt change anything cause its a bowed tendon. the hoof doesnt really cause it . mostly racehorses get it , but it can be caused by not warming the horse up or slipping , taking off from the gate .. etc
