I don't get it. Mom jeans are when you have a rather larger belly and you pull them over your belly so there's a " front butt" showing. Obamas jeans look normal to me. They might not be the trendy torn fake faded style but a good pair of classic Jean maybe Wrangler or Lee jeans. What's wrong with that? Plus I think he would of been criticized if he would of worn trendy jeans. Dress your age people.
