A video about the relationship Nathan Petrelli has with his mother Angela, and how it affects his relationship with his brother Peter and his daughter Claire.

Angela Petrelli knew her sons had a shared destiny. Her eldest, Nathan, was supposed to be president. But to do that, he had to let his little brother Peter die. She did everything she could to ensure that it would happen, including pitting her own sons against one another at every opportunity. However, her attempts to keep them apart only brought them closer together.

The birth of Nathan's illegitimate daughter Claire could have destroyed Angela's dreams of him becoming president. So she did what any good mother would do- she made her son think his infant daughter was dead.

Nathan is only who he is today because that is how Angela made him. Now that he has finally broken free from her, he deserves a chance to find out who he really is. And only his little brother Peter (and possibly his daughter Claire) can help him do that.

That is why we must save Nathan.

Thanks! Poor Nathan. I kind of wonder how much of him is actually him, and how much is Angela. My guess is the part of Nathan where Hiro says he pretends not to care when really he cares too much is probably the real Nathan.

Oh, and of course how close he is with his little brother. Since, despite Angela's best efforts to keep them apart, Nathan and Peter are about as close as two brothers can be. (Especially with their age difference!)
