As Chomsky says, consent is a manufactured commodity.

  • So let me get this straight, if I say to a judge after my speeding ticket goes to court, "I claim common law jurisdiction" and "I do not consent (to civil law juristiction) and I waive the benefits" when theyre about to slap me with a fine and 3 points, they will dissmiss the case because I volunteered myself out of their system? How reliable is this? She seems to have dealt with her case here without any backlashes but how easy is this to use to wriggle free of the magistrates matrix?

  • @ashleelmb In practical terms we are so far removed now from common law that most magistrates won't understand the lawfulness of the argument and will carry on regardless. The world is in the grip of totalitarianism, and you are subject to that the same as everyone else whether you consent or not. I'm not saying it's right, it's a very long way from right, and one day our departure from the rule of law is going to cause a reckoning, but we are not there yet so be careful out there.

  • @TheDemocracyDelusion: Yeah, I thought as much. Ive even watched a video of Raymond Sinclaire take on a magistrates court, acting as a leyman for a person where he provided a birth certificate to the stand which he said represented the defendant and tried to swing it that way...and even though the magistrates left the court in the end and Raymond declared the case as dissmissed, the address of the person will have still recieved a threat letter demanding money or further action. What can we do?

  • @ashleelmb I suggest watching the videos by Dean Clifford.

  • @TheDemocracyDelusion If you have ended up before the Magistrates you've already lost. You need to sort it out before it goes that far.

  • @ashleelmb No, as far as I can tell the way to deal with it is not to make any claims but rather to rebut their presumptions. They won't tell you what presumptions they are making and in fact most officers don't even know they are making them. See the video's by Dean Clifford, it's based on Canadian law, but UK and US law are quite similar.

  • I'll tell all you fellow viewers what pisses me off. When I watch an incredible video like this and I get inspired - I start to read as many comments as possible. Stupid me thinks that in this community of viewers I will find further information of use. Ideas of action, historical information, links to other documentaries or intelligent and constructive posts or debates. Instead there is always knit picking, mindless arguments, people arguing out some insignificant shit.... Keep it real brothers

  • @mbawaters Sure, just telling you, and anyone else reading that I don't know. I figured it was more polite to say that than to just ignore the question. Perhaps someone else reading will be able to enlighten us.
