Actually the Sukoi should be second considering its high fighter capability. It actually out performs even the Raptor except for the stealth factor and top speed. :)

@nickfl1980 nah. the reasons are never simple. and it wasn't scrapped. 187 were built- more than enough. the flight characteristics of this plane are far beyond unmatched. my buddy's an engineer that works for pratt on the engines. doesn't shutup about its awesome perfromance, and how current f22 fleet alone is more capable than any future adversary's entire air power.

Tomcats are no more. They are very difficlt to fly and too expensive to maintain and require lots of maintenance as well as two people to fly them.
