If that skatepark were more like San Jose or some other top 10 Jon Jon would be skating 98% and surfing 2%. However, Oahu has a thousand times more and a thousand times better surf shape than SoCal will ever have, so maybe he'd surf 25%, skate 75% SJ. It just makes sense that SoCal needs a few San Jose skateparks since they got 1000 times more crowd. U don't even know, the bottom 1/3 surfers dropped out during the real estate hype all the while prices went up to serve less people.
