Very beautifully played indeed. Pieces as simple (technically) as this are actually quiet hard to play, but you really know how to turn something simple into something beautiful, and that, for sure, is a great ability to have, which many - or at least some - guitar players haven't really found out :) By the way, your guitar sounds very nice! Who made it?
Hi Jakob, Thanks for your comment. Don't know how you found the tempo in this piece. I'd like your input. I was trying to have some fun with it. Get away from the metronomic tempo. I was always under the assumption you should take liberty with 19th century music. BTW The guitar was made for me by Darren Hippner (2005) Washington state USA. Kindly, Don
Hi Don, In this video your tempo seems all over the place... did you mean to do that? I ask because your other videos show a real musicality and attention to rhythm, etc. Just wondering...
I really like this, not being a purist myself.
A great sound from that guitar my friend.
Regards,
Paul

Yeah, It is kind of all over the place. :-) I guess I took too much liberty with rubato. I'll post a better take soon. Thanks for the input. Don
