I've decided not to shop at Walmart this year for the holidays. Fuck Walmart. That family has more money than my dog has fleas!!!

Walmart is a scam they move in and bankrupt the local businesses that pay their employees a living wage. Those employees have No Choice but to work at Walmart, then they are paid so low that they go on Welfare. They make Billions in profits While they Take Federal and State Funding to pay their employees. Screw Walmart with their made in everywhere but America crap, I don't care if they give crap away I'll never set foot in one again. Look at Dicks Drive-In in WA Restaurant way lower than Retail

You can get an associates degree or certificate for under 10 grand easy at a community college which is a great way to get a better job then at Wal-Mart. If someone doesn't have the cash for that, then they can apply for student loans. Then after that they can continue going to school while working at a job that pays a bit more.

Or if you don't want to go to school you can work at a factory and also make quite a bit more then at Wal-mart.

I can't afford to get my MA in psychology, and neither can my family. So it might be back to retail for me! Ugh!

Yeah, I used to work for Safeway. Their working conditions are horrid. I mean, how much would it cost the damn company to buy chairs for Safeway employees to sit in? The company makes billions of dollars, and they can't even afford to buy chairs for employees to sit in. Oh, but they can renovate each store to make it look pretty. I finally quit. I went back to school to get my BA in psychology, but that degree isn't even that marketable.....

They are not being forced to work there, but during a recession, the alternative most likely would be a lot worse.
