"Climbing Uphill" from THE LAST FIVE YEARS - Emily Lynn

Emily Lynn takes the stage at her going-away Cabaret celebration in order to perform one final time on the Huntsville Stage, and blows everyone away with her rendition of "Climbing Uphill"

Story: What this cabaret was, in essentiality, was Emily's way of saying goodbye to Huntsville, AL. She'd been doing theatre in the area for a long time and is leaving to go pursue a degree in musical theatre at Shenandoah University in Virginia. Since that is very far away she won't be making visits often, so she decided to throw a cabaret as a way to say goodbye and asked who'd made the biggest impacts on her career to come perform. However, the night wouldn't have been complete without the lady of the night herself getting up and performing for us.
And despite having some sinus and vocal issues, she still manages to blast out this incredibly difficult song. =)

Even tho the singing wasn't fantastic your artistic ideas were inventive and humorous . . . We loved the ending :)
