What i would like to know is why doesnt every smoker die of cancer? If the chemicals in smoking are known carcinogens every smoker will die of cancer, but this is not the case.
Anyone know the answer please help?

Based on some Medical Students I've talked with at my University and their colleagues + a bit of research on the net... there's a huge chance smoking leads to lung cancer (a high percentage, which you can probably find online somewhere), but it doesn't always turn out that way. Smoking also causes heart disease and other respiratory diseases.
