Short documentary about Donato Rossetti (1633-1686), an Italian priest, philosopher and mathematician. In 1681 he published "La figura della neve" ("Figures of snow"), one of the earliest publications devoted to describe the shape of snow crystals observed with a microscope. This video was produced for the exhibition "Piedmont under the microscope" Castello di Malgrà, Rivarolo Canavese, Torino 2010.
