Yogg Saron Guide - One Light in the Darkness! (Vent Included) Part 1

Revelations Guild - Korgath, Alliance. This is our first Yogg HM Kill with only 1 Keeper up (Thorim). Raid make up: Healers: Lonari (Druid), Palamanian (Paladin). Ranged DPS: Edakhet (Priest), Zeraika (Shaman), Hexagram (Hunter). Melee DPS: Avy (Druid), Asu (Death Knight), Arthyn (Rogue). Tank: Thantik (Paladin). Asu, Avy, Arthyn, Reefmaster all went into the portal on brain phase. Rest stayed outside. That's pretty much it. 2 Healer fight. Our raid comp was a little gimped because of repetitive classes, but hey we got it done. one week after 3.2 But not like we had any new gear from ToC anyway.

Things to remember:
1. DO NOT STEP ON THE CLOUDS. If you're lagging you should account for the lag and stay well away from the clouds to compensate for your lag. If you fail at phase one, you might want to practice the fight a little more, HM is not the place to learn basic concepts.
2. Whoever goes in to his brain should start aligning with their respective portal positions 10 seconds before the portal opens. This will give more time for brain phase damage.
3. De-cursing is a must, make sure you're in range of healers. Move as a group run away from Skull when you see it (if you're using DBM), or the fear de-buff whoever gets it.
4. All Melee went in the brain for our group. Asu, Reefmaster, Avy, Arthyn. Two of them to the adds further away while the other to took the adds closer to the entrance.
5. As brain phase comes to an end, move as a group towards the entrance, to meet the players coming out from the brain phase, so you can heal them up and what not.

I miss my old guild, so how less we talked on vent? we knew what we were doing, people in ICC gear still have trouble with this sometimes... It really isn't hard, just need to pay attention! :)

My adonns here are Simplebar, for stacking the actionbars like that, raid ui is grid (its highly modifiable), and excorcist for that bar on top of the action bars for coold downs, and the bar on the side of the left chat window. I also use quartz for my cast bar. Thats about it. Happy? :P
