  • Can you put turbo boost technology 2.0 to have you CPU to 3.7ghz with the fan that came with the i5 2500k?

  • @sungmachine when your CPU needs the power it will go from 3.3ghz to 3.7ghz automatically. This is what turbo boost does. I will send you a link through PM

Turbo Boost is automatically enabled and can be controlled through the bios. The stock fan will be fine to run it on the max turbo boost frequency

  • Can a gtx590 fit in an antec300?

  • @magnificbeef not sure, if you know the length of the card, look on antecs website for video card max length

  • love your parts selections. nice to see somebody who knows what he's doing and knows the current state of the hardware market doing a build for other people.

more often than not when I talk to somebody who has had a PC custom built for them, the builder has riced it out with unnecessary parts like an i7 2600k (no better than an i5 2500k for gaming), an 800watt power supply, and either an underpowered or stupidly overpowered card for their resolution

  • @dt35591 cheers mate!

  • This is my first time I'm choosing the PC components and an a self-confessed 'noob' when it comes to computers. I like to turn them on, and play video games hahaha

  • Hey Dude, love your videos. I'm currently in the process of having a computer built for me, and was wondering if I could run the component list which I've chosen past you for your opinion? Intel i5 2500K QUAD CORE ASUS P8Z68-VPRO/GEN3 ATX LGA1155 GIGABYTE GTX560 1G DDR3 PATRIOT 1600 8G KIT Antec 902v3 case CORSAIR TX850 PSU 3.5" HITACHI 500G 3.5" SEAGATE I would really appreciate some feedback. This is costing me all up just over $1,500 and that's not including build cost! Thanks
  • does this have a ssd mount down the bottom of the case under the harddrive bays?

  • I know noting about building pc's and stuffs but soon i will get a good one xD. my brother is an expert on this. :D need to learn this stuffs.

  • @ImCalledJackk why 6770 when he has 560ti?

  • Is there enough room for a 6770?

  • @brianthesnail1234 "excellent antec 300"? The Antec 300 sucks.

  • good video..... and nice build.... the big problem with 4pin mobo cables when using bottom mounted psu,s is their length,,,, and even the excellent antec 300 has no cut out at the top for cable management...... the only option like you say is some minor modding ..... and even then you would need a extender to route the 4pin mobo cable around the back..... personally the antec 300 looks nice but has limited cable management well done mate

  • @magnificbeef it should fit :) im gonna buy a game pc soon from a store here and the pc has a gtx 590 videocard in an antec300 case so it should fit ;)
