"Star Trek: Phase 2" - the never realized second Star Trek series featuring the original crew that finally ended in with the first Star Trek motion picture. Many "phase 2"-scripts had been used during the strike of the writer's guild in 1988 for "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and til today for the fan series "Star Trek: New Voyages/ Phase 2" created by James Cawley.

Ya it would have, but you can sort of see it. Go search here on youtube for Star Trek Phase 2. Theres actually a new Star Trek in the TOS universe with new actors portraying Kirs Spock and McCoy. Its very cool and the space sequences are great :)

Star Trek The New Voyages/Phase 2 is a fan made series made by volunteers and is the very best Star Trek production out there, there are other related series about the U.S.S. Faragut and other ships but ST:PII is leading the charge.

It would of been interesting to see.

To bad trek didn't do phase 2. Then again if they did the whole movie franchese would have gone down the crapper

For some reason, I have a feeling we might not have ever gotten "ST: TNG", "ST: DS9", or "ST: Voyager" either. (I'm not sure what to say about "ST: Enterprise" (I'm kind of torn about that series).
