  • Sweet clip combination. The only thing I'd change is get a lighter clip so it blends better, and reshoot it on level ground, like the VW's (I call Porche VW also ;p ) are. Since you are on an incline, it makes the Kia struggle a bit. One level ground, you'd be just as smooth as the Vdubs. :)

I gotta shoot a vid of my G80 Suburban, its just cool watching > 3 tons balance on two wheels.

  • Thanks for your comment. Everything you said about the shouting is right, but because of lack of time I couldn't do it as professionally as the others... You can watch my other two videos, though, which are better...

  • yeesh! I like the Cayenne and the Toureg but Independent suspension off-road scares me! I will stick with my solid Axle Jeep for that. What's with the garbage ass Kia?

  • Same result with the Cayenne and the Touareg but with solid rear Axle!

  • what i am saying is that a Sorento should not be in the same class as a Cayenne or Toureg. I don't see any Sorento's running Moab! You know why? They are terrible gutless trash cans on wheels.

  • Well, my friend, apparently practice proves you wrong...

  • Differential Lock, Keeps the wheels rotating at the same speed on the same axel, regardless of traction.

  • @Tboninator Its tough to beat an open diff for reliability, because it shares the load between the axles.

G80s are designed to operate primarily on road with occasional off road use. Their biggest weakness is the operational design, it goes from open diff to lock up which allows people to use engine throttle & drivelline momentum to put incredible stress on the carrier.

That is why most automatic lockers(detroits, etc) stay locked, and only unlock around corners.

My point was is that they're not just "very breakable"... But that they're prone to breakage- more likely to than not, because of how weak the carrier design is on the G80, as well as the little weighted locking bit. If you've got bigger tires on there, I would rather go with an open carrier. :l

  • @Tboninator Depends on the driver, but, yes, they are very breakable. 14 bolt axle parts are pretty darn thick, so we'll see how long it lasts. ;)

The bottom line is eventually either the locker or the axle breaks. When you come across a drive line failure on the trail, you can bet money there is probably a locker in the vehicle.

  • @l337pwnage

Ehhhh... That G80 isn't gonna' take that for much longer. G80s are complete junk.

  • @Athrunwong nah man, land rovers are for hollywood

  • sorento sorento

  • A Landy can beat all of these......

Land Rover are build to be off-road vehicle.....

  • for some reason ur car remminds me of my puppy

  • 100 % lock, may be, but te first car?? no way!

Mercedes G, first build in 1979, it can lock both front and rear axle 100% !

  • No matter how yo Japs bark , U r going down drain.. bye to hell .. dirty suckers
