Running an LGB locomotive on steam power

This LGB locomotive is powered by a small generator driven by an Accucraft 1:12 scale tractor. The movie was taken towards the end of the run (the tractor runs out of gas part way through) with about 40 to 50 PSI of pressure left in the boiler. With a full head of steam (about 80PSI), the locomotive is quite lively. I bought the generator used so I'm not quite sure of its exact origin. It is a nice casting containing the innards of a small DC motor.

das ist ein fake hab selber mal versucht meine lgb mit einem 9V blok anzutreiben

war total langsam,glaube nicht das der dynamo reicht um so viel strom zu

produzieren,den so schnell wie die lok war braucht man 1ampere fahrstrohm.
