  • Senators who vote Nay on the Universal Health Care Bill have some explaining to do.

  • Don't confuse supporting the troops with supporting the war. the financial backing for the war isn't just for food and equipment.

he has voted against withdrawal, voted in favor of war profiteers, and has also voted for restrictions on habeas corpus.

That doesn't sound like supporting the troops or america, or being opposed to the war..

  • Now that the country is at war, Obama has no choice than supporting the troops, financially and morally. In the senate, if asked about sending food, money, equipments to the troops I think you don't expect Obama to say no just because he opposed the war from the beginning. These might be the votes you are referring to. When he is in office he will bring them bk home, check his site for a withdrawal plan. When Hillary got the 3am call she gave a wrong answer, don't forget she runing on experience

  • i know her record is pretty much the same as obama's..

  • i don't think you get the point. it's not about experience.

they both have voted for funding the war, but even though obama never got the chance to vote for or against the war, to continue backing the war financially is essentially the same as supporting the war.

voting for financing the war lets me know where obama stands on the war and gives me an idea on how he would have voted if he had had the chance to vote for the war like clinton did. like they say, actions speak louder than words.

  • If Clinton is the one with experience then why her voting record in the senate is identical to Obama's, she should not feel comfortable voting like some1 without experience.

There is no doubt that if Obama was in the senate he would have voted against the war, his voice was not heard and he struggled to get his message heard, just like the rest of us on many issues. Clinton is good at playing politics but 1 thing we deserve is a sorry just like Edwards did.

  • ???

actually, obama wasn't even in the senate at the time that they were voting for the war, but since he's been in the senate, clinton and obama's voting record have been nearly identical.

they've both voted to continue funding the war multiple times..
