I don't particularly care for dropped tuning myself... but who gives a shit if you play in drop D, or drop fucking Q. That's not at all what it's about!!!

There just happens to be a lot of bands that use dropped tuning that also make shitty music. Same with standard.

I play it tuned in Eb as opposed to D. I do this a bunch to avoid constantly changing my tuning.
