Picked up some geocaches while hiking the Mitchell Hill lake trail in Jefferson Memorial Forest.

1st cache was called "Best cache ever"
2nd cache was called "Halfway up"

For those who don't know Geocaching is the hobby or act of finding containers that other people have hidden and recorded the location with a GPS. That location is then posted on Geocaching.com and your job is to find it and sign the logbook. Some have items in then that you can take some are just logbooks. If you take something out then you should leave something behind.

There are almost a million of these things hidden all over the world. Just around Jefferson co. Ky. there are more than 6,000 hidden. Some are in urban areas that you pass by everyday. What looks like a service cover on a light post may be a cache. Some are in wooded areas and take you to places you may not know existed near you.
