Superhero preview - Spiderman

"With great power, comes great responsibility," said Uncle Ben to his nephew, Peter Parker. Uncle Ben would, unfortunately, never see the Amazing Spiderman born of his dear nephew. Peter lived in regret letting the man who would killed his uncle go by. Yet, his uncle's voice echoed those word of responsiblity. We never know where God will lead us, to those of us who are willing to submit to Him. Spiderman never became Spiderman until he chose to use his gifts and talents to help those who can't help themselves. We have a responsibility to obey our Father in use of our talents and gifts, to witness to those in the world with our words and actions, and to love all of God's creations. Calling yourself a Christian isn't enough. It's how we live that makes us Christians and our willingness to obey the words of Christ.
