@RecalcitrantFunksaur I play these two games all the time, they are two of my favorite games of all time. There are next to no similarities between the two other than the fact that they are both turnbased RPGs. the worlds are nothing alike. The stories are completely different, and the characters arent even remotely similar.

@SerothTalon1 Then you need to replay the games. I'm talking about core elements (especially the theme of identity), not superficial ones.
Ironically, the two games are the only standalone titles confirmed to occur in the same universe (Gaians are descendants of Spirans, according to Square).

@RecalcitrantFunksaur what game are you playing? It obviously isnt the same FFX that the rest of us are playing. Cause those games arent even remotely similar.
