First, I was ripping on the faulty ideals instilled in a youth's mind by a corrupt education system, not the child herself. Second, the supreme court also ruled that a man named Dred Scott had no right to sue in court because he was somebody's property, that separate but equal is legal, and that a corporation is a person. Our Constitution explicitly states that no law shalled be made respecting an establishment of religion or inhibiting the free exercise thereof. I love to read.

@227Morgan : First off, it's takes a real winner to rip on a kid. Secondly, does having a few diests out of the top scores of Founding Fathers qualify us as being "founded by Deists"? and thirdly, there are Supreme Court cases in the 1800's where the SC agreed we were a Christian nation and oh yeah, a few hundred quotes by all those Deists Founders who too said they wanted a Bible based society. Grow up and read a book sometime.

The founding fathers did NOT establish a Christian nation and had no intention of doing so. Look up the Treaty of Tripoli in which is explicitly states that "The United States is not a CHrisitian Nation". We were founded by Deists hoping to establish a country believing in religious and spiritual freedom in all respects
