Time is like a river...its slows down at one place and moves faster at another....Inside each GPS navigation satellite is a very precise clock..despite being so accurate the clocks inside each GPS navigation satellite gain around 1/3rd of a billionth of a second everyday. The system has to correct to this drift. Otherwise that tiny difference would upset the whole GPS navigation system down here on Earth!..Causing every GPS Receiver on the Earth to go up by about 6 miles a day! ! ! The Problem does not lie with the 'Clocks' inside the GPS Navigation satellites. They 'RUN' fast because 'Time' itself RUNS FASTER here than it does down below on earth. And the reason behind this most EXTRA-ORDINARY EFFECT is the 'Mass' of the Earth! ! ! ...The heavier the 'Object' the more it 'Drags' on Time...But this 'STARTLING REALITY is what that opens up the door to the possibility of 'TIME TRAVEL TO THE FUTURE'.

  • @rich1051414 You just said everything that I said in my statement, what are you trying to say?

The reason I chose to use "universe as a game" Is because it is more simpler for the average man to interpret.

Some people do not get why mass slows down time, to avoid that being asked I used a different example.

@nonamedyet time does not actually flow, its just a comparison, because Its properties do match that of a flow. But don't take it literally.

  • @llparasitell I know, relativity is a bitch to wrap your mind around :)

  • @llparasitell Actually... we all know mass slows time. And the faster you go the more massive you become, therefore time will slow relative to how fast you are going. If a jet goes fast enough, it'll arrive with it's clock slow, meaning it took less time for the pilot to fly to a distance than it took to those observing his flight from earth. The faster you go, the slower time moves for YOU, but not for everyone else. So you actually arrive faster than it took you to make the trip.

  • Time does not flow!!!! Fail!!! Review your basis of general relativity.

  • @llparasitell A speed limit law? I hope you're not referring to light...

  • @stafus no offence but how old are you ?

the universe has a speed limit law, it is bound, you cannot break it.

    it is like a game.

The system knows you are going faster and nearing the speed limit, so instead of physically slowing you down, your time is slowed down, making it impossible to ever go past light speed, you can never go 100% light speed, But as you go closer and closer time will slow down more and more to prevent you from going light speed.

This is already proven ages ago.

  • So the fatter I am the less I age! :S

  • i can make the time goes faster well i can invent a watch with 48 D-hours " 2 D-hours = 1 hour " and here we go the time runs faster XD you can make fun of me now -_- but in the future the people wud appreciate my theory and gonna analyze what i have said and never will get it XD

  • Time can eat my ass

  • MORONS its not time running faster its the CLOCKS. due to the lack of external influence, gravity.
