  • Jon is the man, but how COOL is Richie?

  • Cher was Sambora's girl at the time, she brought his cowboy hat out to him on stage,,,,,,this performance was what inspired MTV to create the Unplugged show...a little FYI from an old man...

  • @ProfessorCockrum: Are you sure? I thought that the whole MTV Unplugged series was triggered by the unexpected success of Tesla's Five Man Acoustical Jam.

  • Lindos e talentosos. Amo os dois.

  • THE BORN OF THE MTV`S UNPLUGGEDS. THNKS BON JOVI FOR THE IDEA =)

  • JUST A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!

  • I actually cheered and clapped at the end of seeing this again. There's a moment near the end of the second song when you can tell Jon knows they're doing something special. Probably haven't seen it since it aired live way back when. I could listen to these guys sing and Richie play that guitar all night long. This version of Wanted Dead or Alive is BY FAR my favorite. Just AMAZING!!!

  • I remember this performance lilke it was yesterday. Loved Bon Jovi before this and remember thinking how cool it was stripped down and made hauntingly beautiful. Still gives me chills even after, what 22 years! Thank God for videos!

  • 4:59...*Chills*!!!

  • Oh Amazing, Absolutely!!!!!

This gives me goosebumps each time - What Depth and Ambience!!!! WOW!

  • Is this amazing, or what ?!?

Just 2 guys, 2 guitars, and their obvious love for their music.

I remember watching it on TV live in 1989, loved it then; still love it now ...

  • Yea,nobody had done anything like this before, I remember watching this live. It also marked the end of Bon Jovi. I seen an interview jon said after this, he told the band that this was it. Everybody was really sick of each other from all the extensive touring and stuff. I think they compliment each other. Kinda like steven tyler & joe perry. paul stanley & gene simmons, paul mccartney & john lennon. mick jagger & keith richards. If you replaced anyone of them it just wouldn't be the same.
