11 August. On the recent Pacific Leaders Forum in Cairns and the impending State visit to Australia, the decision to redeploy the SAS to Afghanistan and the government's announcement of New Zealand's emission reduction targets.
Positive initiatives on climate reductions is a plus just not quite clear on how it will be achieved ? Will it be through reduction in enviromental emissions or increase in carbon credits and if so what is the balance between the two. Will there be incentives to do so e.g America's grants for new cars?
Good stuff with the SAS, they will no doubt do us proud as are all our forces. I think we could probably do with more involvement, our people have good skills and morals to share.
The emission reduction targets will cripple us, perhaps that's what you want to show? There's more fashion & marketing behind the 'climate change' movement than science.
