Here we are, back at the party ( see the other vids on this channel - "By By Johnny", "Roll Over Beethoven" and "Reddy Teddy" [click on the blue" RandyBrook77 " link] ). This is one of Fats Domino's big hits from the early 50's. Fats was a Bourbon Street, New Orleans, Dixieland Jazz and Barrel-House Boogie-Woogie piano player...one of the best...who caught the first wave of Rock and Roll along with Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers and - of course - Elvis Presley. Fats was more on the "roll" side of Rock and Roll, and a great showman. He had a number of major hits (Blueberry Hill, Ready Willing and Able, I'm A Fool To Care, Blue Monday - the list goes on). Everybody at the party got into this one, and I love the results. This one goes out to "The Queen of Rose Ave."
