Pokemon Platinum Walkthrough Part 103 Flint the Fire Master of the Elite Four

Ronald McDonald is back in action with his newly revamped team of powerhouses that are actually fire, all fire type in this game. Genius!

Houndoom Level 52 Dark/Fire
Flamethrower
Sludge Bomb
Dark Pulse
Sunny Day
Unless you want your awesome rainy gloomy day ruined by sunny day, take this thing out quickly. Sunny day will be a pain for fellow Water types trying to finish this thing off.

Flareon Level 55 Fire
Overheat
Giga Impact
Quick Attack
Will-O-Wisp
AHHHH, WILL-O-WISP, IT BURRRRRRNS, no seriously, it literally burns... Powerful cuteness, use your water and ground moves before you burn.

Rapidash Level 53 Fire
Flare Blitz
SolarBeam
Bounce
Sunny Day
If Sunny Day is in effect, watch out, your going to be in for a load of hurt from SolarBeam. Flare Blitz does recoil though. Only 1 of 2 pokemon to remain the same from Diamond and Pearl.

Infernape Level 55 Fire/Fighting
Flare Blitz
Thunder Punch
Mach Punch
Earthquake
Honestly, an infernape with earthquake just doesn't seem right to me... This beastly monkey that in my opinion is a rip off of Blaziken was his main in D/P and still remains strong in Platinum. Watch out for thunder punch if your using water types, he covers weaknesses, psychic types work good here.

Magmortar Level 57 Fire
Flamethrower
Thunderbolt
SolarBeam
HyperBeam
Should Sunny Day be in effect, this thing is a deadly offensive powerhouse no matter how you look at it. Take it down quickly with a good strong water, ground or whatever works good on the standard fire type. One random note, the uncommonly seen (in game, not competitively) move stealth rock eats at his team pretty badly, should you have it, definitely use it.

why do you need both spark and thunder fang, they are pretty much the same attack. I suggest you teach luxray some other physical move.
