You should be saying that Ichigo is a copycat of Dark Saber,

The first appearances of Ichigo´s Bankai was somewhere after October 3 in 2005 in vol 19, While Fate was released in January 30, 2004.

So Dark Saber appearances was more then 1 and half year sooner then Ichigo´s Bankai :)

For example in the UBW path of the game, Shirou didn't use the splendid techniques of the previous wielders.. At all.. He can imitate the noble phantasms special skills, but he can't use the users techniques as a whole.

He frantically attacked Archer, and ''overpowered'' him. In ubw he frantically attacked quickly, before gilga could retaliate.

Shirous fighting style doesn't have anything to do with the weapon he uses, but he can use the special skills..

And why do you keep on ignoring the fact that Nasu himself has established that a serious Gilgamesh could have killed anyone in the Holy Grail Wars except for Saber with Avalon. You are ignoring that the gate of babylon itself fires it's missiles faster than bullets. Any frontal charge would have been suicidal. Cu Chullain has tested it. Caster has, so did BERSERKER.

The whole point of my text is that ''speed'' is what was lacking from Alexander.. Speed.. No matter how good he is at range, against Alexander with the Chairot, he could have shortened the distance so fast that it would have gone to melee no matter what.. And like you said, gilga sucks in melee.. I bet the whole army could have taken down Gilga alone 1 v 1 in melee range..

Just 1 interrupt on EA would have been the death.. And the Chairot was the missing key.

@geenius3ab Furthermore, even Cu Chulainn, who had the fastest weapon and the greatest speed couldn't lay a dent on Gil's armour. Enkidu just restraint him. He was butchered with GOB.

LOL.. The only good part about the treasury of Gilgas is that he can use the weapons as projectiles. He isn't a weapon user, but a owner.. Which is why he would still have been beaten down.. Cause you seem to forget that alex had a ARMY in his disposal.. With the Chairot kicking the shit out of Gilga, and denying his EA. He would be dead.

Archer sucks in melee, and you should know it, cause he LOST to Shirou.. So there is another question.. Why couldn't Archer use the special skills on Shirou?

@geenius3ab I told you. Melee was never Gil's specialty. There's a reason why he is an archer, not a saber. He is supposed to bombard enemy forces with greater firepower from a distance. The bull would have been killed by Gae Bolg or other stuff from the man's arsenal. Furthermore, if the bull got destroyed by excalibur, it could have been destroyed by EA. And regarding EA's cast time--Gil didn't even have enough time to wield EA before his arm got hacked off.

@geenius3ab Furthermore, Gilgamesh could have always used GAE BOLG! Yes, GAE BOLG, the spear that never misses unless you have extremely high luck. He used it on Hercules. He could have used it on anyone. You seem to think that EA is the only effective weapon Gil has, but wrong. There's a vast arsenal of special weapons he could have used with great effect. GOB with special weapon kills.

@DarthFanta Lol... Don't you know that all of those weapons that Gilga used were a lot higher quality then Shirou, and he still lost to him in melee?

And don't you know as well that Gilgas EA has a short Cast time. The problem was that Alexander got caught by Enkidu, and couldn't make it. So what would have happened if he could have dodged enkidu, or atleast send the chairot full-speed into Gilgas face?..

And Alex had a full army at his disposal, so once the bull hit.. Gilga would just be dead..

@geenius3ab Gil's armour is strong enough that he can take a large number of hits from excalibur without breaking. If he was wearing armour, Shirou would have completely lost.
