  • Very nice bass. I sung this years ago...very good recording! Well done.

  • @worldgymrank awesome! i wish i was in this but they sang this when i was in 7th grade! ugh

  • I love the piano part in this song. It's like, "Let's do this." :)

  • @MajesticTOASTER i kwn right! i actually prefer the piano than the (small) orchestra

  • I don't like the fact that the melismatic passages and runs are not articulated, but are slurred instead. That is a severe error in taste and/or judgement on the part of whomever directed this group. Also, it's a pity you performed this with a pianist instead of the intended strings. Other than that, you guys sounded absolutely phenomenal. What a fantastic chorus. You should be proud to produce a sound like that. Bravi.

  • @manwithabook i hate the first part of your comment! but thank you for the last part :) i understand what you're saying and its quite a given but still, like you said, a phenomenal choir and performance! not every year NM's All State Mixed does something this amazing! last time was 2005 i thought!

  • it's gorgeous! but the alto solo drove me nuts. did she turn some of the sixteenth notes into grace notes on purpose or was she just off?

  • Soprano soloist you are AMAZING!!....you are a Charlotte Church type timber to you voice very consistent and not over done....Baritone your solo in this is actually the solo part that should sound more vibrant than the other solos (not just because I am one) but didnt hear that here and the rest....Alto solo very shaky....choir BRILLIANT!

  • I get to sing this for the first time!!! It's so awesome!!!!

  • @manwithabook Oh, I don't know. I love the piano bit. It sounds absolutely gorgeous.

  • LOL I love it when audiences clap at the wrong time. Here's a clue: WATCH THE DIRECTOR

  • I sang this for the WELS National conference of Worship, Music, and the Arts. (July 2011) I was in the National Honors Choir. (All High school aged) We didn't really like the song at first but the more we sang it we loved it and we still talk about it getting stuck in our heads! :) Wonderful job, we used this version as a preference when learning on our own!

  • Great rendition. Alto solo was off a bit but still nicely done. I prefer this with the string quartet but the choral work was so nice that it really wasn't an issue.

  • @worldgymrank thank you!!! very awesome bass section indeed!
